I you have pinholes, I've used SealsAll to good effect several times. Comes in a small tube. Wire brush the area down to bare metal and smear on a thin coat. Let dry 24 hours.
Hi All,
I was looking for a new Gas Tank for my 53 Roadmaster, can't find anyone who will ship to Canada, so have decided to try the POR-15 kit.
Does anyone have feedback on this product?
Thanks
Dave

Great Thanks....Have tested the tank and seems solid....Have some rust rattling around inside the tank and looks like some varnish build-up
Tanks, at tanksinc.com offers replacement steel gas tanks for 1941- 1954 Buicks. I tried to repair my pinholed gas tank, and all I got for my trouble was a more expensive pinholed tank. Pinholes in the top of the tank are just as dangerous as those in the bottom.
Thanks for the info....I have hooked up with HRC in BC who have ordered the tank for me, at a good price too....
Much appreciated....
Who is HRC?????????????
I used it and the results were great...it's 3 steps, cleaner, etcher, and sealer. It hardens pretty solid so make sure you don't gum up the screw holes for the gas tank sender.
Try Gas tank renu. They appear to be in Canada. I just had them restore mine. Liftime garantee.
