I've become a big fans of centrifugal superchargers, for virtually all applications. I know that the Supercharger Store has put one on a 455- http://www.thesuperchargerstore.com/Gregg%20Hurst.html

If you definintly want to go the roots direction, I think that Arizona Speed & Marine has done this before, but you'd have to contact them to make sure.

I assume this is an all-race application?

I would have to say that a twin turbo 455 would be even cooler! The kit is offered by Burton Machine... I have the 350 kit.

    Exclamation 455 blower motor

Gary Dyer makes a nice complete blower kit for not too bad of a price. Has everything you need to do it.

Don't forget the twin screw supercharger which has the highest effeciency. It also has a higher cost.
The 305 has a standard 671 bolt pattern and drive so it can be used on a Buick 455 with a Dyers manifold for instance
