wow. now that's old school.
OK guys, here's one for the really dedicated. I have a damaged 1922 mod 50 engine. I've recently picked up a similar block, undamaged. Obviously I'm hoping it will work. The problem is, I can't find my book with engine numbers in it. I know it's here somewhere but ???. Anyway can someone help? The number on the the block is 210745. Can anyone tell me what I have?

The first number for the 1916 model year was 144729 and they built over 100,000 cars that year so it is a good guess that it is 1916. I am guessing your 1922 engine number is around 800,000? If you post your enquiry on the Buick forum at the aaca forum you might get a more accurate answer.
