    Radiator top mounting bracket question.

Does any one know if the top radiator mounting bracket from a 1972 350 Skylark will fit in a 1970 Skylark, GS 455? Thanks

It should fit. wouldn't be "correct" if that matters. You do need a different fan shroud for a 455 though. 350 won't work.

    Radiator top mounting bracket

Hi, Thanks for the response. Yeah I'm not too worried about it being correct if it fits fine without altering it. I'm not concerned about the shroud either as I'm in the process of removing the shroud and fan to add two, FF Dynamics, 14", 3000 CFM puller fans for better cooling. I wanted to change the existing radiator mount because it's made out of plastic. I don't know where the previous owner found it, but I'm guessing it isn't origional. It looks kind of cheap and when you lean on it to work on the engine, it flexes a lot.
Thanks again for your input. Have a Happy Thanksgiving!!!
