Pass inner Fender

Is a '72 Chevelle inner fender the same as a '72 Skylark? Mine is ate up with rust...

No, they are not the same as a chevelle, or any other A body. You can now get reproduction inners. Good used ones are very hard to find, but there are some. You can also get a patch kit to weld on if the rust you have is under the battery tray.

I'm not sure a patch would suffice, the rot is almost back to the well. Who makes the reproductions and the patches?

Try Year One. There are a few others that sell the patches also. I bought the 3 piece kit to fix my radiator support and had it put in by a buddy of mine that has a body shop. Worked real good. You will probably need it too if the front of the fender well is gone the saddle ( radiator support ) probably ain't far behind it.
Almost all the restoration sites that advertise Skylark and GS parts will have or can get these patch panels.

I have some repairable inners if that would help. they still need the patch, but only issue is under battery.
