I'm trying to get my heater in working order
before winter kicks in and I have a few
questions.. I have a 1983 Buick park avenue with Chevy 350 with 350 transmission. what does the vacuum ball connect
to?(th350 has manifold vacuum) I have new
heater core and the heat from the floor isn't
very hot. is there a different part I'm missing?

192 degrees constantly
sound like the trap door is not going to full heat--- locate it and watch it as you adjust it from cold to hot then see if it can go further in travel---probably a vacuum line cracked---check every little hose---and grab a six pack....you will be there awhile lol
