    1956 322 Rocker arm shaft

    Is there a difference between 1956 322 rocker arm shafts and 401/425 shafts if so what is it?

    322 and 401 rocker arm shafts

    thank you very much!!!! I've been told that 401/425 rockers will give me about 10hp more??? I know they are supposed to be 1.6 ratio verses 1.5 ratio on the 322. I see rocker shaft are sold for 322 and 401/425 with different part # that why I was asking. I am still learning new things everyday thanks. again for the help

    Thanks Tom I will let you know if I need them. Just removing engine again. I have 1 lifter that likes to unload when parked for a day or so. I will repace it . Has anyone tryed the neoprene seal kit sold by Buick rodder out of grass valley ca??? He sayes he has one for the 322???? I am a little revous about making a change from my seeping graphite impregnated rope seal.

    I also have the front & rear neoprene seals. I include the PROPER sealer & instructions also.
