    tremec 6 speed or tranzilla

    i would like to know if they made somethin for buick like they do for chevy

    try butler performance.(they're mostly pontiac) i think all u would need is the bell housing (BOP) maybe convert to a clutch cable setup, easy swap. only issue i see is the 6-speed tremec's have a larger case so trans tunnel space may be an issue as far as fitment, depending on what your putting it in.

    You will an adapter like this: http://www.mcleodind.com/application...L_HOUSING.html. Then you have to figure out how and when to over ride the the reverse lock out (prevents you from hitting reverse instead of 5th when moving), and what to use for a cluth set-up. This is the trans in my Cobra and with a few upgrades it was seeing 540 ft/lbs to the rear wheels or nearly 650 ft/lbs at the flywheel. It is one very nice trans, and I think all manual transmissions should be this one now. It has great low end grunt and it is so nice in 6th turning 2750 rpm at 80 mph with 3.55 rear gears!

    GOT BUCKS? I just talked to American Powertrain in KY yesterday and they had T-56 magnum 6 spd rated at 1000 lbs torque with bell housing,
    hyd clutch assy., clutch and flywheel avail for 455 Buick.
    have a web site and were on Power Block TV last week.
