I want to delete my ac unit from my 1970 Skylark convertible. Besides patching the opening in my firewall, and obtaining a heater blower box for the firewall side, is it necessary to use a non ac heater core, and a heat only unit for under the dash? I already have a new ac heater core, but I know the inlet outlet tubes are slightly different. I want to use my existing under dash components if I can. Thanks
The best way is to get an A/C delete box for the outside firewall, and you can keep all of the rest of your stuff the same. This is what we did.
