I wouldn't worry about "OE". I put on a set of flowmasters. Mandrel bent 2.5". They weren't perfect, but they were good and sound good.
They start as if for headers, so you just have to adapt to the manifolds.
Hi all, been a long time but too much work...
Just a quick one, I'm looking for OEM style dual exhausts for my 67' 340/4, were would you point me at ??? I want to keep the original manifolds.

Hi Bob, good to read your experience,
What do you mean by 'adapt to the manifold', just buy adaptator plates and bolt right on or much more job? As they call it 'headers-back', I thought it wouldn't fit the original manifold at all...
I eared about Waldron, what do you think of it ?
For any brand, what would be the best source (I'm overseas...)
THanks for your help !

I don't know about Waldron, never heard of it.
You just have to go to your local muffler shop and get an appropriate sized pipe flared for your manifold and bent in the appropriat place to match with the aftermarket system, i.e. flowmaster.

Hi,
OK, it seems quite easy for you there, but here, find just a 'mufler shop' is a quest yet.....
Well, I know now what I should do, thanks for your help as usual...

Gardner Exhaust
http://www.gardnerexhaust.com/
Makes an EXACT reproduction exhaust system for the 1967 GS340. It is expensive, over $600 US, but will fit perfectly.
I bought one of their 65-66 GS systems and it was the easiest install I ever did.
There are other generic systems avail from TA Performance, Pypes Exhaust, Magnaflow, etc, but they will require some customization to install.
