Hi Ben, have you checked the condition of the oil pump lately ? its situated low down close to the noisey oil pan and could also be the reason the rockers aren't getting much oil maybe.

i just got my 73 455 working its seem do have oiling issue i dont have too much oil on the rocker arm ani have a bad noise seem to be comming from the oil pan which happen to have bs in it no big but the plate between the engine and the tranny was eaten by flywheel do you think the noise come from piston hitting the oil pan help

i just got my new felpro gasket so im gonna take off the oil pan and see there too much vibration on it i hope its not the crnk bearing
