    1964 Buick Wildcat Windshield clips

Just FYI: If you endeavor into the delightful task of pulling your front and rear glass to tidy things up and find yourself in need of new molding clips...............Good luck locating anything listed for a '64 Wildcat!!! However, once you realize that the molding clips for a '64 Impala are IDENTICAL, you can get them anywhere......EVERYWHERE!!!! I hope this info saves someone a little bit of the time that I spent searching!!!!!

I ventured through the same thing about a year ago. I had to remove the back window of my 64 to repair some major rust. I repaired everything and was going to replace the window, I used a 64 impala rear window seal, but I could not find the trim clips. Luckily I found some on ebay for the 64 wildcat.
About a month later I was told the impala clips were almost identical.

I am unsure if a headliner from an 64 Impala would fit, but it sure looks like it would work also.

I need to replace the package tray on my Wildcat, do you think an Impala one would fit?

Probably. As accessible and inexpensive as Impala parts are, it's worth the risk.

I always thought some parts were interchangeable but how much will actually fit?? It would be cool if anyone that knows of parts that will fit our 64 wildcats and lesabres would post them up whether it be interior, clips or suspension. Ive seen suspension parts for the impala and the rear end component locations looks to be identical but still i have heard that they are not the same on my 64 lesabre. who has really compared both rear suspension parts like lower and upper control arms and panhard bars.

does any one know about the brake drums on the 64 lesabre?

the factory drums are aluminium and have steel linners!
is there a castiron replacement availabe?
Or does any one know the factory specifications of the origanals to find a good replacement?

I removed/replaced the windshields on both my 64s (Wildcat 4dr posted & Lesabre 4dr HT). Yes, the glass clips are the same as the Impala.

I have a brand new headliner for the LeSabre, Satin Black, that we double ordered - this is made to fit. Cost + shipping if you're interested
