1939 Buick model 41 front brakes

    Hello to all!!

I need your help. My 1939 Model 41 is missing the backing plates and all hardware for the front brakes. The previous owner bolted the front drums on the car to make her a roller. Is anyone out there doing a resto mod on one of these cars and thinking to scrapping the front brakes? If so, please don't throw that stuff out. I'd like to buy it. I am also curious to see what other year front brake assemblies would work on this car. I am not crazy to install disc brakes on this car, but as a last resort I will. I'd like to keep her all original is possible.
    Thanks and Best Regards,

    Phil

    Phil,
I have what you're looking for, backing plates, with hardware and shoes. I removed these from my 1938 when I modified it.
