Finding parts

I have just become the new owner of a 48 buick special. The car is all original (I think). At some point in time someone started to fix a valve problem then I guess they thought that restoring would be a good idea. That is as far as they got. I have parts in boxes, and many parts i cant find at all, can anybody tell me a good place to find motor parts I need a valve cover most importantly. Any help? thank you in advance. This car will be a daily driver when I am done.
