It's me. Can't figure out the 1950 Super decode info on this site. Understand that my vehicle was made in Southgate, CA (first Serial Number digit is a "2"). But the balance makes no sense to me.
Here's the whole number: 257I7550 Yup, 4th digit on the plate is a capital "I".
Can someone help?
Thank you,

You are correct about the 2, the 5 verifies it is a Super, the rest of the number is the serial number. Sorry, that's all there is in the engine number. There are other numbers on the ID plate that will translate for more information.
