    R-12 to R-134A rebuild?

I own a 70 GS 455 in which the seller had the AC converted to R-134. Aside from a bad leak, which I will get fixed first, is there anything specific that I should know in order to keep this system operating? Anything to check for to make sure the rebuild was done right? Anyone aware of someone who rebuilds compressors, if it comes to that, in the South and Central Florida area? Thanks in advance to any and all responses.

you can get a new gm compressor from any gm parts distributor for around $225.00.i got 1 for my 72 olds .they are compatable with either 12 or 134.this way you know its right and the air will be ice cold..
