Hi Jorg. The bolt patter is 5x5 (5 lug, 5-inch diameter); and the stock wheel dimension is 15 inches x 6 inches.
In metric, that would be 5 lug by 127mm for the bolt pattern; and 381mm x 152.4mm for the wheel dimensions.
Hello everybody and greetings from Germany.

Hi thank you very much,
i get another answer from a wheel dealer. He said the bolt pattern are 5 x 4,75 ?
Nate is correct, it is 5x5 for the large series Buicks. The 5x4.75 bolt pattern was used on the smaller series Buicks, like the Skylark/GS and other GM cars.

julian..........if you want to put cragers on you have to buy wheel adapters with 7/16 studs and 1" thick.........use either 5 on 5 or 5 and 4.75 bolt pattern....they will accomodate any 15" or 17" wheel......the lug bolts are to short to mount after market wheels...........blvd cruiser
the lug bolts are to short to mount after market wheels
if the lugs are too short then i should think it would be far better for him to drive the old lugs out and install new, longer ones.

I'll post this just for reference.
Last June, I bought a parts car for my '56 Special 4 door. The only problem with the parts car was it had been sitting up on blocks in this junkyard for 25 years; no wheels. Somewhere, I came across this cross-reference list of all vehicles that had a 5 X 5 lug pattern:
5 X 5 Hub Bolt Pattern
1935-75 BUICK: All except Skylark, GS, Special and Century (after '61)
1935-59, 1968-85 CADILLAC: Deville, Fleetwood
1971-76 CHEVY: BelAir, Biscayne, Caprice, Impala, Kingswood
1971-91 CHEVY/GMC: 2WD 1/2 ton Blazer/Jimmy, Suburban
1985-02 CHEVY/GMC: Astro/Safari van
1972-98 CHEVY/GMC: 2WD 1/2 ton pickups and vans
1992-99 CHEVY/GMC: Tahoe/Yukon
1973-78 FORD: Full size (Galaxie, T-Bird, LTD)
1958-69, 1973-79 LINCOLN: All except Versailles
1973-78 MERCURY: Cougar XR7, Meteor, Marauder, Marquis
1948-76 OLDSMOBILE: All except Cutlass, 442, F-85
1948-76 PONTIAC: All except Firebird, Trans Am, GTO, LeMans, Tempest, Grand Prix
Anyway, I found some wheels with good tires on a '78 Chevy 1/2 ton truck, and away I went.
I also ruined the spare tire rim on my '79 Lincoln Continental sedan this spring. I went and got a rim from a '90 Suburban and it's worked great. (I should try switching a Lincoln and a Buick wheel, just to see if they interchange...)
I hope this info will be useful, such as in parts car moving, or emergency wheel needs. I can't make any guarantees for the data, though, as I obviously can't try to fit all these different wheels on a Buick.
Best of luck,
-Johnny B.
My 55 has lug bolts (not nuts) when did Buick switch to a stud and nut set up?
