NO! they will probably try to hand you a filter for a Chevy 350. do not want.
you'll want a filter for a 1974 Buick 350, which is a very different thing from a Chevy.
you could also probably use a filter for a 1977-89 231 v6.
my question is on both sides of the exhast manifold upper area of the block you can see the numbers 74 so is this the year that the engine was built ?
probably. the best way to tell is with the two letter Engine Code. if it's truly a '74, your EC will be ZB, ZC, ZM or ZP.
