    64 buick lasabre

I have just started this project on a 1964 lesabre 4 dr ht.
Some questions that I have are - The breaks are of course drums.
But the front ones are aluminum are these available NOS?
Also the center hub is about 3 1/4 in across. The rims on the car when I bought it looked to be modified to fit the center and were in bad shape. So I looked for new ones but could not find any. So I went to a machine shop and had some modified but now my hub caps don’t fit due to the style of the new rims. Does any one have any knowledge on this?

    Thumbs up

Yes these are aluminum drums, as far as we know they are not available aftermarket, we have a 64 LeSabre parts car we are parting out, and have an extra set for 64 Wildcat, we have the correct rims for the 64 Buick.

    Buicks we own,
    52 Buick Special
    55 Buick Super
    60 Buick LeSabre
    64 Buick Wildcat
    01 Buick LeSabre
    06 Buick Lucerne

    Buicks being parted
    55 Buick special 4dr HT
    64 Buick Lesabre 4 dr
    83 Buick skylark 4dr
    Buick somerset 2 dr
    57 Buick 2dr

how's the rear bumper on that 64 LeSabre - I need the left (driver's side) end piece.

by chance, does it have a/c, and how bout lectric windows?

MTAC, my 64, 4dr HT is on the rack, in primer. putting suicide doors in the rear.

Also installed a saddletank with a second filler door/tube on right rear fender.

Good luck on your 64, they are a great car to work with
    - I've got a 64 Wildcat also. just need to redo the seats - the guy that did them didn't follow my instructions.
    cheers
