    1962 skylark drive shaft. HELP

so my 62 skylark daily drive has a messed up drive shaft. its a two peice shaft. and its rattling right in the middle. the bearing is shot and so is the ball joint and the front shaft.
i need some help sourcing either a used replacement or if any one knows what car i can pull one out of at the local junk yard to make it a one peice.
if it helps i have the stock rear and a BW T-10 4spd.
im in dire need of some assistance. i cant afford to get one made.
please any info would help greatly

you can email me or write back here. just not sure when i can get on here next.

I don't own one of these, but from my understanding, these parts aren't reproduced and are a pain to find. You might want to try jumping over to buickclub.org and v8buick.com for starters to see if there's anybody over there who can help with experience or parts if nobody else jumps in here. Good luck!

Go to Rock Auto website. They have the center carrier bearing.

    drive shaft

I seen it on myth busters a guy in your state has a junk yard full of drive shafts . it was on the myth of catapulting a car with its own drive shaft. they say his junk yards name on there.

the carrier bearing and Ujoints are readily available from RockAuto

Wheatbelt Buicks, in Oklahoma, has 11 acres of 60-70s Buicks. Ken & Sue are great people to work with. call them and they will fix you up.
