    Rusty Sail Panels

I just purchased a 69 GS 350. It is solid everywhere but the sail panels. It had a vinyl top and rusted badly in these areas. What are some options for fixing it?

I realize it will need to be cut and patched. Is there any place that sell replacement panels?

I am new to bodywork so please forgive my ignorance!

My guess is that you will end up fabricating those panels. I'm not sure if they still make full quarters for that car, but they would be expensive and you'd end up cutting out more than you'd need. If you're not good with metal fab and welding, you could probably hire that part done and/or find someone local to guide you through the process so you'll learn. Good luck!
