    67 Riviera-Brake Drum Swap??

Hi. I picked up a used set of American Racing Torq-Thrust wheels (15-inch) and I want to put them on my 67 Riviera. However, they do not clear the outer-most fins on my rear brake drums. Does anyone know if there is a reasonable swap to a conventional brake drum (light duty truck or car) that would work? Any other suggestions? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Keep what fins you can, have a machine shop turn the fins down until there's adequate clearance. The fins are there to enhance cooling; lots of cars were equipped with drums that had no fins. If that's not an option, you should look for a 12"x2" drum with a 5" on 5" bolt circle and the proper sized center hole. (Chevy truck ??)

Ok, I'll look into that. I didn't know if possibly they changed the style of drum for 68 or 69 maybe. Thanks for the quick reply.
