Need a good source for 1957 Roadmaster Interior Code Interpretation

Question 1: I am trying to find a comprehensive source to decode my interior "Trim" code off of my firewall tag. This source should describe not only the color but the fabric used as well. Also, does anyone know where I can get a pictorial review of the actual interior options which were available for specific roadmaster models for 1957? - Now that would be great.

Question 2: In addition, I have always thought that all 1957 roadmasters came with the highly polished aluminum/chrome center bezel which would round completely across the center section of the dash from left to right. Now the Century I thought always came with a "Imprinted" less polished bezel. But I recently was at a show and viewed a Roadmaster Convertible which had this "Imprinted" Century bezel. It was the first I had ever seen on a roadmaster. Now this makes me believe someone put it on and replaced the highly polished on during the restoration process for kicks.

I ask this question because I would like to know if "technically" you could order a roadmaster with this century bezel instead of the normal highly polished chrome typical roadmaster bezel.

Can anyone help me on any one of these two question?

    Thanks in advance.

Yes thank you. I know of this. However the information here says little to nothing regarding trim code interpretation. I am looking for a source that will show me the various interior options which were available for the Roadmaster line, and most specifically the model 76-A .

I know that when these cars were being sold at the dealership, there were books that were shown to each customer considering the purchase of a roadmaster. Inside were the various interior color, style and material covering offered in a photo presentation or an artist rendering as was popular then. Some old upholstery shops had these books. It would be nice if someone could find, copy and post onto this site.

The code on the Tag on firewall tells you the color but not the style as each model had at least 2 different pattern styles.

I will keep looking and if anyone is the wiser please let us know.

    Cheers
