I dont see why not! But why the milk shack?
would a 350ci oldsmobile engine and 400 gearbox fit into a 67 skylark?

someone has run away with the original motor and box and i thought this may be a semi easy replacement option
Ok, get an original engine and box from a scrap yard, you'll be better of
they are not that plentiful here in new zealand thats why i wanted to know if the above would be a easy fit,or else i will go down the chev 350 way
practically any Engine would go in any car! but its always a problem with the mountains! you will have to make new holes in the chassis so you can mount the new odd engine and box, then you cant guarantee vibrations after you do that! AND other things. We in Egypt have the same problem of the right parts; but i do order online from the States. I have a 1959 Impala and a 1970 Riviera.

wouldn't surprise me if the Skylark was originally set up for a TH-350 so you'll probably have to move the transmission x-member and shorten the driveshaft.
i think a lot of stuff on an Olds is backwards to a Buick. like, i think the starter is on the drivers side.
