Race car is back from paint shop...almost ready

Still need to put in nitrous kit, front grill, carpet, notch the rear frame rails, then off to the track. Hoping to find some 9's this year. And be street legal.

hmmm, going for the "blacked out" look. you going to black out the radiators up front?

what kind of black is that? it's not flat, but it doesn't look very shiny.

More of a Satin Black - Slightly matt - Slightly Gloss.

You can achieve satin black with Old school Celouse - Enamel - or with 2k with a matte laquer.

They start with a gloss black and add a flatening agent. Not sure how much or what type they use.

Similar to how they did the GSX hood stripe for our 72.

Tyler (my son) likes the aluminum look showing. He is going to experiment with the grill, but is thinking gloss black for now for the grill.
