Dynaflow interchange?

I got a 1950 Dynaflow from a –50 Super and wonder if this trans will fit the bigger 320 engine as well?

I'm pretty sure the 40/50 series and 70 series don't interchange. From my limited understanding the Dynaflows from the smaller engines wouldn't handle the 320 so well, even if it bolted up.
Somebody correct me if I'm wrong.

No difference in the service manual is included. The higher power consumption certainly gearbox.the conversion to 320 engine I would prefer to select another gear. the long block but requires in any event allow conversion of the fire wall.Do you need the service manual? I can scan it.

All dynaflows are the same. However the bellhousings are not. The bellhousing bolt-up to the trans is the same, so with a bellhousing change, you are good to go!. alleycat
