    63 dual path trans problem ...help!!!

    DOES ANYONE KNOW AN OLD TIME DUAL PATH TRANS. REBUILDER WHO CAN BE CONTACTED TO ASSIST IN DIAGNOSING MY PROBLEM?



    Help our dual path tranny is



    slipping in high gear, low gear is fine, some whinning noise



    any suggestions on why



    1963 Buick Skylark conv. v8



    any input would be helpful

    dual path

    First thing is, I would check your transmission fluid level. Set in P or N. pull dipstick, wipe.It should be pink/red color, if you have ATF in it.


    WHinning can be your transmission pump, just guestimating.
