Hi,
My '65 Electra has a malfunctioning turn signal. it was working fine until a few days ago. I came out of the store and went to use it and nothing. No ticking sound, no flashing, nothing. I briefly had this issue once a few weeks ago but solved the problem by playing with the steering wheel tilt. That seems to have fixed it. I tried it again the other day and this time it did not help. I don't know if the wires were wet or if they're getting frayed or what the deal is. I don't have a steering wheel puller, so I'm hoping to avoid going that route. Does anyone have any clue what the problem might be. I know electrical issues can be tricky! Thank you in advance!
Never mind... I figured it out. The "heavy duty flasher" fuse got knocked out of place, and that caused the signal malfunction. It's all cool now
