The hot air tube that runs from the right side exhaust manifold to the choke housing of my 66 Skylark GS has pulled loose from the exhaust manifold; it actually appears as though the metal has disintegrated inside the exhaust manifold. Is there a repair for this issue? If so, how is the repair accomplished? Thanks!

The metal tube is just steel brake line. One end fits inside a stainless steel tube pressed into the exhaust manifold. Remove any remaining broken/rusted pieces from it using a drill and bit.

I had same problem - I used JB Weld as a temporary fix - will use an ez out bit and do it right - soon as the weather permits
I also have the same issue, but there is no tubing left at all and I'm pretty sure that tubing went out the bottom too, but i don't know where it went to. Please help out on this one I'm sure a lot of guys out there have this issue considering how easy they rust through.
One end of the tube from the exhaust manifold went to the choke housing....that supplies the hot air.
The other end of the tube in the exhaust manifold (the rear) ran to the very top of the carburetor. It's purpose was to supply clean, filtered air to the exhaust manifold tube and then to the choke on the carb.
Just use brake line for both of those.
