    Radiator for a 55 Super

Apparently the 55 Super (and probably all 55 models) is some weird size that nobody makes or carries any more. Does anyone know of a compatible radiator? I'm not so worried about in/out locations, I can always have a hose made, but I'd rather not go cutting up the front end to fit a wider modern-day-style radiator.

The guy at the radiator place said it's a "V" radiator and therefore couldn't be cleaned out, so I'm looking to buy a new one. I guess I could always try to have a new core made, but the tank is in fairly poor condition so I'd rather not spend a ton of money to end up with a beat-up looking new radiator...

    Opinions and tips are welcome!

A local shop re-cored my radiator and reconditioned the tanks - it looks like new and the cost was a reasonable $320 . . .

Apparently Chevy TriFive radiators are drop-in replacement in terms of dimensions, and I'm not worried about hose location, that's easy to fix. That's good news from an availability standpoint.
