Old GS-X-Tra (Sept-Oct 82) lists the Stage II cam specs as: Intake lift .455", Exhaust Lift .480", Advertised intake duration 340*, Advertised exhaust duration 360* , Intake open/close events 52*/108*, Exhaust open/close events 112*/68*.
Does anybody know the specs (lift, duration, lobe centers, etc.) for a factory Stage 2 455?

340/360 duration seems like a crazy amount of duration.
Are those specs seat to seat or at .050?
I think it is advertised or seat to seat if you like. Maybe it was a missprint and they were meaning 240*/260* @.050", but it reads as written above.

numbers are correct - the duration is wicked! that's why this cam does not develop enough vacumm to operate power brakes! auxilliary vacumm cannister required, or manual brakes needed with a stage 2 engine
alone in a 455 (without the stage 2 heads, pistons), this cam does not really make huge power - it needs to breath alot better than even a ported set of stage 1 heads can offer......enter the stage 2 heads - monsterous 2" round exhaust ports with no exhaust runners. whole combination = 500 hp
Heads alone worth 50 hp over the Stage 1 heads. These engines sound awesome! nice lumpy idle, fast idle, truely a mean sounding beast!
