    55 tube rear shocks

Has anyone changed the shocks on the rear of a 1955 Buick to tube shocks?
I want to update to tube shocks and am not sure the best way, any suggestions? Thanks

    55 tube shocks

Have you investigated repairing the old shocks? They can be rebuilt, or replaced, and modified for the ride you want without changing the whole torque tube system..

Yes, I did check about repairing the original shocks, but I am missing parts and by the time I fixed the shocks and bought the parts it would be too much, also I think tube shocks are better.
I'm sure that 56 came with tube shocks and they were almost the same car, so I am wondering if I could take brackets off a 56 and put on a 55. thank you
