51 Buick Special 4 Door Sedan Rear Seat

Hello All,

I have a 1951 Buick Special 4 door sedan. I used to have it parked at my business yard and during that time somebody broke into my car and stole the rear seat. They did a nice job, took their time and didn't break a single thing.
These guys definitely had a car that needed that seat.

I am looking for a seat. Does anybody know the interchangeability of rear seats as far as hardtop, sedan, roadmaster, wagon, or even other gm cars? If you do, might someone know where to track one down?

I know the Super and Roadmaster are wider than the Special so in all probability the rear seat is specific to the Special only...the rear seat in my '52 Roadmaster is about 53" at the top, 60" wide in the middle where the top and bottom parts meet. See if that matches up with your car.

I am guessing the 50-53 special is all the same; will verify tonight in a manual I have. Probably the Oldsmobile/Pontiac is the same spring frame, at least.
I have one of these, too. Mine is model 41-D
