    64 skylark engine swap

Anyone know if the frame on a 64 skylark conv. is strong enough to handle a swap to a 401. Is the 64 skylark conv. frame same as the 65 skylark conv. frame.
    Thanks Bob

No Problem: Almost the same frame exactly.

The convertible frames are boxed for extra strength so that they can support a car without a roof. So yes I would say that they are strong enough. I believe that all the GS's in the early years had convertible frames.
