I've got a 94 lesabre custom w/ dynaride suspension. Just had new tires installed & 4 wheel allignment. I've noticed a big difference in ride & handling since I got it back from the shop. It used to ride smooth & now I seem to feel all the bumps & road imperfections. Also the handling seems to be alot sloppier...almost floating??? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
This is just a shot in the dark, but I'd check the inflation pressure in the tires and check the lug nuts to see if they are tight. Your descriptions of "feeling everything" and "floating" are kind of contradictory. New tires can often feel different than old ones. I have had poor ride results from cheap import tires that I once had installed on my old pickup. On a car like this, having an alignment done usually only means that they set the tow. The description you gave for the ride don't really point to a problem there. If you have and air ride system on the car it might have pumped up or gone down when the tires were being changed but that system usually straightens itself out after driving for awhile. There is a light chance that the lever that connects to the rear suspension that controls ride height might have been screwed up. Again, just shots in the dark. Good luck.
