    1969 california gs

Hello everyone . New here so I hope I'm in the right place . I have a question about my 69 california gs . The vin number is 433279I1083xx and it is a two door pillar coupe with a 350 cid . When we took the engine apart for rebuilding the pistons were dished in the center like a soup bowl , in a book I bought about buicks it mentioned the 350 in these cars were to have 10.25 compression ratio and 280 hp , do these piston sound original . I was not the original owner of the vehicle so I don't have all the history of the car . Thank you all very much .

The high compression Buick pistons have a low dish (.035" I think). The dish can be quite a bit with low compression.

Thank you Bob for your reply . I'll have to wait for the pistons to come back from the machine shop to compare the original to the new .030 over bore . I was quoted $600.00 Canadian for the set , sure seems high but I guess I should of started this project twenty years ago .
