My first thoughts would be a sucktion problem. Could be a faulty pick up assembly, loose pickup assembly or faulty gasket. I just lost my oil pressure due to a broken rocker arm shaft, but that was total lose.
i have a 72 455 thats been running great, but last time we ran it,it felt boggy, looked and had no oil pressure.shut it down and the next day rolled it over and had oil pressure,so i cranked it and oil pressure was like normal 65 to 70 lbs@idle {900 rpms} cold, after 20 or 30 seconds oil pressure got real eradic jumping from 70 to 40 and back and forth so i shut it down.anyone got any ideas
