    How do you remove the dash trim...

    along the upper edge on a 64 Riv without breaking it? Looks like a clip holding it on but it has to come off to access the screws holding the glove box surround to the base. Thanks

    feel in as far as you can reach, you should find some 5/16 nuts

    You can remove the glove box by just removing a couple phillip screws
    the trim doesn't just snap in.

    not sure about the rivvy, I have two 64s; wildcat & lesabre, I removed the complete
    dashes to rewire (put in flat fuse boxes), I think the chrome trim came out with the
    dash sections

    That info is probably available in a '64 Buick Shop Manual ?
