1958 BUICK SPECIAL SEDAN : Carburetor ?

Hello,

Could you please help me to identify the original carburetor
(Stromberg WW, Carter AFB... ?) which fit to my Buick :
1958 BUICK, Model 58-41, Style 58_4469, Body B A 766
--> with Std gear box (not automatic)

Is there any chance to find one for sale ?

Buick Specials used a two barrel carburetor (the Carter AFB is a 4 bbl). They came with either a Carter WGD or a Stromberg WW. The actual carb numbers varied by year. I think for '58 the Carter WGD is 2845S (or just 2845) and the Stromberg WW is 7-107 for automatic (Dynaflow) cars. If you aren't looking for a numbers matching carb, then any 2 bbl carb from a '57-'60 with an automatic will work.
