Hey has anyone ever had one of the valves that are bolted to the heater core rebuilt. I have a radiator shop that will recore my core but he says that the heater valve isnt working at $200 to fix the core but I still need the valve.

I had mine rebuilt by a fellow who does just those. His name is Joe Hudacek and his number is 715-392-6169. he did a great job on mine. Too bad you can't see it because it looks better than new and works great.

I used Joe Hudecek to rebuild my 1955 Buick heater valve and it only cost $75.00. He did an excellent job.

well i sent mine out to OLD AIR PRODUCTS in TX last friday. He was highly recommended to my by a radiator shop thats been in buisness for 50+ years ill let you know how it went
