LT was the code for the 1965 401 4 bbl in the Wildcat, Electra and Riv.
There used to be a really good reference chart on here for engine numbers but I can't find it anymore. I found a 425 short block core in the back at work with a flexplate on it so brought it home to take apart for that. It's a 425 with casting number 1364705, serial number starts with 5C, and the other number is LT 389.
Anyone know what year and what it came out of?

The chart is still here!
Goto the 'Reference' section in the menu heading near the top of the page.
Maybe this link will work:

Thanks. This is actually the page I was thinking of but I still can't find whata 5C came out of. Doesn't matter though anyway the block is junk ( cracked across the starter mounting) and the flywheel has a section of stripped teeth and it's bent more than my other one.
