Does it look like this?--
If so, then it's '75 LeSabre.
The '75 Electra taillight looks like this--
And if it has a big "R" in the middle, it's Riviera.
I just purchased a tail light on e-bay for a 75 Electra. However, it is not an Electra. It is long like an Electra but it has a white fogged light on one end. I assume it is for the license plate light. Can anybody tell me what model it is really for? The lens does say 75 on it so I think it is a 75 Buick.
Thanks,
Professor
Thanks for the reply Snake Man. The tail light that I have is like the one you say is the Electra. However, my lights are like the Electra picture except it doesn't have the little license plate light on the end. My lights are the same from one end to the other. One end has a rounded corner and the other end is square.
So, I have an Electra tail light that is useless to me and I'm not sure why my Electra is different.
Buick made alot of different models.
I can't put pictures on here but I could e mail you a picture.
Thanks,
Dean
Is there a Part Number on the lens anywhere? Sometimes, you have to look VERY CLOSE - OVER THE ENTIRE LENS - to find it. Sometimes the part number is an extremely small number cast into the lens - along an edge somewhere. Look it over with a magnifying glass - if you have to. With the part number, I might be able to find what it fits. Let me know!! Thanks, BluesBrothersBuicks
There is a (#SAE A1211121S151T 75 Guide 40) I would guess the 75 indicates it is a 1975, but as to what model, I have no clue.
I'm sorry, I looked at the guide # and it is GUIDE 4C. At first I thought it was 40.
