I have a 66 Electra and I'm looking at putting Bilsteins or some Ride Tech Q series on mine. They are a higher in price than monroe, but I believe the build quality is better.

Koni gas adjust, handle great, easy on the wallet, summitt or jegs

I believe that stage3matt means KYB gas-a-just, not Koni as they are not resonably priced, but a very GOOD shock along with the Bilsteins.

I checked with KONI and they do not have shocks available for my 66 Electra. No one that I know has used KYB, how good are they compared to Gabriel or Monroe? Or, are they considered to be in another category up there with Koni and the Bilsteins?

The price of the KYBs is very good, anyone has personal experience with them on a larger vehicle? Again, there is no application for my 66.

Checked every company that was mentioned here except the high-dollar shocks for our Lambo-Boats. Summit has listings for Bilstein and Ridetec (front only) , they also have listings for (front-only) KYB gas-adjust. So, wanting to have a matched set all the way around, back to my original post...I ordered a set of Monroe Sensatracs for $100.00 plus shipping. I will pair this with new coil springs from Moog and the ride will be better than original!
