Dog dish hub caps and beauty rings?

I'm wanting to learn about 1954-55 painted wheels and the dog dish style hub caps and chrome trim (beauty) rings. I know the wheels came painted the same color of the car unless the optional Matador Red was ordered with typically a French White stripe . I have some wheels that have the original French White painted stripe on them and also have the clips that held the small covers on. I have collected several sets of the small caps but can never find the rings that I am sure are correct. Does anyone have any rings that they are sure are correct for 54-55. How wide are they? What 40's-50's chrome trim rings are the same or interchangeable. I just passed some up on eBay because I wasn't sure they were correct. Thanks for any help you can give.

The ones that were on my 55 CVT when I bought it were identical to the ones sold by Dennis Carpenter Ford (6A-18303-15)....could have been changed but were old and beat up like the caps. The wheels were body color (Temple Gray) with black stripes.
