    1947 buick special serial number

    Howdy there i hope someone can help me identify my buick,
    I have a 1947 buick sedan special 40 series, and the only id number is on the right hand side firwall on an aluminum plate that reads Buick 14588054
    I am trying to identify if the body is a fisher of Australian Holden body
    Any ideas please any one

    4588054 = Frame or Serial Number
