You might also look for a good used one if money is a problem.
A disadvantage of aluminum is that if you ever bang it, it is far more prone to break or crack.
Hi guys,
A lil problem here. The fuel tank on my '55 Special is done. It's been patched at least 8 times in it's life. (Not my doing, that's how it was when I bought her) Anyway, I'm trying to figure out what my options are. I could get a new one fro $383 bucks or I could try and build one out of aluminum. (With help from my pop, of course). Has anyone faced this problem? I need ideas. I'm trying to save as much money as possible.
Thanks
