Bob,
Do you have the build date off the fisher plate ?
David
I have a 1970 GS Buick that has an invoice date of March 19th, 1970. What are the parameters of dates that I should stay within to be accurate when replacing parts?
Thanks, Bob.

Thanks, Bob.
Bob,
Without getting to deep into this subject.
Parts on your GS can be dated 30 to 120 days.
Nov. 69 through Feb. 70.
Stocked parts at an assembly plant can almost
assume the FILO method. First In Last Out.
Parts were manufactured in mass quantity and shipped to the plant, so what ever was in stock already was pushed to the back.
Heavy driveline 1 to 5 weeks
Small parts assumes the 30 to 120.
This was the short version hope it helps
