    Leather alternatives

Any suggestions on the best Leather Alternatives for Interior...I've heard of UltraLeather, Allante, Raven and Endurtex....Any suggestions or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

My Mom and Dad have a motorhome which uses Ultraleather on the seats. It is really nice, and I read up on it: It's supposed to be tough as nails. Hard to believe because it is so soft but they've had it about 5 years, the upholstery is white, and it looks perfect. I doubt that most people would realize it's vinyl and I would not hesitate to use it.
There are lots of great auto upholstery cloths out there now, as well. I am thinking either Untraleather or a dark grey velour as I see in some GM pickups, for my '51. The materials in the early '50s were not particularly durable and I don't want anything to be too delicate when I get finished with it. If you're a purist, that's your thing, though.
