Pulling an engine with a transmission requires length. You may need to remove all the rad, cradle, grill to get it out easily.
Did you know, the '66 chassis manual is in the reference section?

1, have to remove bearings with drum to get to brakes, correct,
2, two bolts on crossmember to remove transmission with engine at same time.
I believe this is the 340 engine. Planning on full rebuild. any good ideas for cams, pistons,valves etc. Thanks

Thanks for the post, I had not seen the section you mentioned. Granted I have never looked around but thanks again, the reference section was and is the ticket.
