    Help!! Turn signal problem

I have a 73 electra and my right turn signal sticks. I can turn it to the left turn signal and it will click on and off, like it's supposed to. but, when I turn it to the right turn signal the 1st bulb stays on but, the fourth one is blacked out. I'm referring to the rear taillights that have four bulbs in them. from left to right.
the front signal just remains on. no flashing. I've replaced all the bulbs because it used to do that when one of my bulbs was out. and still nothing. any suggestions? it doesn't seem like its the switch, as the left turn signal still works. the relay maybe? I'm not sure that what its called but, it's a little yellow plastic thing with wires connected to it. any help would be much appreciated.

    thanks

Make sure that everything is well grounded. As the older cars that grounded through the taillight housing got older the ground was lost due to corrosion. Sometimes you need to run a separate ground wire.
